Six Steps to World
Peace
Draft 1,
11/14/2004
1. Confess your
frustration and desire to do better
2.
Articulate your painful feelings
3.
Recognize how your adversary shares them
4.
Identify how and where both sets of legitimate feelings lead to illegitimate
responses
5. Construct a superior response
which validates all legitimate feelings
6.
Convert adversaries to allies where possible, delegitimizing enemies along the
way
Its not much, but its a start.
Feedback, as always, is welcome.
