David :
Sort of what I thought you'd say. Well, OK, if there at least are a few ideas
you find worthwhile, that would be good.
If you want to blast away at ideas you dislike, fine with me, though.
Maybe I could learn a thing or two from some solid criticisms.
You are a "reality check" for me.
Cheers
Billy

I e-mailed it to the office and I will print it there. You have some
goodies, and some, well, that I'm not too fond of.

Three days of work went into the document, plus some unknown
amount of time here and there, digging up stuff from the Web in
which various people of different political persuasions offered
platform plank ideas. Much other material on hand but I'm out of
time for today to make good use of it all. Lots of bright suggestions.
The exercize was well worth the effort, it really made me think and
apply a good deal of self criticism to some of the ideas I came into
the project with. Not everyone will be happy with everything, but
what else is new ? At least it exists now and can be used as focus
for discussion at some point.
You are right about the need for a summary. But what's an
"executive summary" ? Am I now CEO of Billy Rojas , Inc ?
Have you been promoted to a corner office at Apple ?
Cheers
Billy

Hi Billy,
Wow! A bit much to digest, and few things to quibble over, but quite a lot
to admire. I'll try to find some time next week to read through it.
Great work,
-- Ernie P.
P.S. I think we'll need an executive summary at some point...

Many of the proposals in the platform are original to Billy Rojas, but most
reflect
the ideas of others, too numerous to mention, but including Dr Ernest
Prabhakar,
Mark Satin, and -despite my disagreements with him, some of which are
serious and
some of which of date back many years- Newt Gingrich, who, no matter what
anyone
says, is one of America's smartest political minds. This said, almost every
borrowed idea
has been considerably modified here, in some cases drastically.
