Christine Whitman joins NAF Board

As another sign of the New America Foundation's hieghtened profile, former New Jersey governor and Bush Cabinet member Christine Whitman has joined their board of directors. I suspect that would make her their most widely-known personage, though Eric Schmidt and Francis Fukuyama also have large followings....

Update: She's since been on The Daily Show plugging her new book and calling Republicans to embrace, if not moderation, then at least moderates. So far she hasn't yet mentioned the Radical Center, but she did apparently coin the term "radical moderate."
